Vision Academy clinch Kuwait Expat League Championship

The Kuwait Expat League concluded with the final fixtures of the season determining the League Championship at the Premier Sport Academy, Bayan Ground this week. Vision Academy needed to defeat Everton U-19s in their last fixture whilst Kuwait United Nations were hoping for them to slip up as they secured maximum points against Salwa.

Despite falling behind against the Everton boys to a Harry Frain blockbuster in the first half, Vision stormed back into the game in the second half to clinch a 2-1 victory and with it the Championship.

Kuwait United Nations had to settle for the runners up spot, whilst other competing teams included Kuwait English School, American International School, Kuwait Football Legends, Homentmen.

Jack Wills, the famous British clothing brand, provided gifts for all the participating players and Jack Wills polo shirts for members of the winning team. Individual trophies were also presented to the match officials from the Indian Football Referees Association and to the players from the runners up and winning teams. PSA.

Everton Aacdemy Director Mike Finn congratulated the winners and thanked sponsors Jack Wills and all the players and officials for their efforts in ensuring another exciting and successful Kuwait Expat League Season.

Next Tuesday May 23 sees the Cup Competition taking place from 7pm onwards at PSA Everton, Bayan ground.
