Victor Badminton Academy holds 2nd-coaching tournament

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 28: The secondcoaching tournament was held at Victor Badminton Academy, Al-Sahil Sports Club, Abu Halifa on the 25th Jan, 2019. Victor Badminton Academy started its operations in the month of October 2017 has become one of the prominent badminton centers in Kuwait within this short span.

Over 100+ trainees at Victor participated in the tournament, which was based on four houses into which all trainees were segregated. Victor Red, Victor Blue, Victor Green and Victor Yellow; Victor Yellow grabbed the overall championship with an aggregate score of 82.5, Victor Blue followed by 77.5 points and victor Green came in as second Runner-up with 67 points.

Victor believes in the overall development of the child and they exceeded everyone’s expectation by their dedication and skills. The entire tournament was organized and conducted by the students of the academy with support from the coaches and parents of the academy.

The prizes were given by the parents The tournament was held for singles and doubles, singles had 11 different categories Adults, Advance 1, Advance 2, Advance 3- A, Advance 3 – Girls, Intermediate 1 Boys, Intermediate 1 girls, Intermediate 2 Boys, Intermediate 2 Girls, Beginner – Boys and Beginner – Girls. In doubles competition was held in 3 categories Adult + Advance 1, Advance 2 + Advance 3 and Intermediate 1 and Intermediate 2 All matches were played in knockout format.
