Two sent to jail for tweeting fake information

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 23: In two separate cases, the Criminal Court sentenced Twitter users Abdullah Al-Saleh to 10 years in prison and Mosab Al-Failakawi to five years in prison for spreading false information about the country, as well as insulting the judiciary, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Earlier, the Public Prosecution charged both defendants with deliberately spreading false and malicious rumors about the country’s internal situation, in addition to insulting the judicial authority.
