Two Indians arrested for running a liquor factory

KUWAIT CITY, March 31 The Mubarak Al-Kabir police have arrested two Indians for running a liquor factory in an apartment in Al-Qurain, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources police acting on a tip-off lay in wait for the bootleggers and caught one of the men carrying bags containing bottles of booze.

The police then raided the apartment and caught the man’s accomplice, seized 170 drums filled with raw material and bottles of booze ready for sale. Police have also seized from the apartment, alcohol manufacturing equipment and referred the two men to the General Department for Drugs and Alcohol Control.
