KUWAIT CITY, July 4: Two Arab expatriates died and five others sustained injuries when their van toppled on Wafra Road while they were on their way to work. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about a toppled van on Wafra Road, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location along with seven ambulances and an air ambulance.

They pulled out the victims to discover two had succumbed to serious injuries while the remaining five were severely wounded. The corpses were referred to the Forensics Department and the injured were taken to the nearest hospital.

A case has been registered. Meanwhile, an electricity generator used in oil companies was mistook for an explosive belt after it was discovered under a shaded parking area in front of a house in Sulaibiya area. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received a call from the owner of a house in Sulaibiya to report that he found an explosive belt in front of his house, securitymen rushed to the location.

They examined the device to discover it is an electricity generator, which is specifically used in oil companies, with a bunch of wires around it. The device was taken by explosives engineering officers. Securitymen took necessary action
