KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: Two Arab nationals were arrested for falsifying sick leaves and related reports based on the efforts of General Criminal Investigation Department in pursuing the forgers of official documents and stamps.

Security sources stated that necessary legal measures were adopted to bring the suspects to book after the sector received information related to forged sick leaves and chits.

In the meantime, detectives managed to trace the source of forgery to the two Arab nationals.

They were arrested with several fake medical reports and stamps belonging to the Ministry of Health, which they later confessed to stealing from a medical center.

They also admitted forging the documents in return for money. Necessary legal measures will be taken against them.

According to the complainant, the suspect convinced him to import winter kids wear from an Asian country to sell it at a popular market owned by one of his relatives and received the money. However, after receiving the money he failed to deliver the goods and during interrogation he told police he was cheated by an Asian. The case has been referred to the concerned authority.
