Two Arab expats caught with various drugs

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 11: Criminal Evidences Men nabbed an Arab expatriate in possession of narcotics. A security source said officers on a tour of Salmiya area came across a motorist inside a vehicle at a parking lot late at night and he tried to escape on foot at the sight of the officers.
The officers managed to chase and arrest him. They went ahead to conduct a search on him and found a nylon bag containing a cocktail of illicit drugs. He was referred with the items to the General Drug Control Department. Meanwhile, Jahra securitymen arrested a GCC expatriate with 10 narcotic pills ‘Capti’ and a piece of hashish on Salmi Motorway. He was referred to Drug Prosecution.
Meanwhile, two Syrians sustained injuries in different parts of the body during a quarrel with a group of youths at a commercial complex in Hawalli area. A security source said the other members of the feuding party managed to fl ee the scene before the arrival of the police. The injured people were referred to the Mubarak Hospital for medical care and search for the suspects has since begun. And, a 23-year old Kuwaiti citizen filed a case against a motorist who intercepted him on the road and verbally abused him.
