KUWAIT CITY, July 23: Customs officers arrested three Saudi brothers for attempting to smuggle 1,915 packages of cigarettes loaded in three cars and valued at KD 16,000, reports Al-Rai daily. Customs officers assigned at Nuwaiseeb border suspected the three Saudi brothers who attempted to smuggle the cigarettes which they intend to sell in their country at a high price. A security source revealed the Customs General Department impounded the cars of the brothers with the intention of selling these vehicles through auction as penalty for tax evasion.
