Traffic officer attacked by Kuwaiti youth over traffic citation

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 12: A Kuwaiti youth was referred to a police station for attacking and verbally abusing a traffic officer who pulled him over to issue a traffic citation against him. The Kuwaiti youth is reported to have abused the officer and also said, “Neither you nor any another officer can issue a traffic citation against me”. A case registered against him.

Meanwhile two officials at the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) registered a case of intentional damage, immoral acts and abuse against an unidentified person who assaulted them in Sulaibikhat. The two officials revealed that they do not know the cause of suspect’s behavior towards them. They provided police with the plate number and detailed description of the suspect’s vehicle. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to apprehend the suspect
