Traffic department removes number plates of those who fled from Jleeb

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 7: Traffic officers removed the plates of hundreds of vehicles belonging to expats who fled on Monday morning from Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh after news of a total ban spread. Expatriates parked their vehicles in the open spaces and fled to other places outside Jleeb.

A security source said that the number of vehicles from which the license plates were withdrawn is estimated to be hundreds of cars.

The source pointed out that the owners of those vehicles are being called in for investigation pointing out that the campaign came after complaints from citizens in this regard.
