Three Kuwaiti citizens wanted by law arrested

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 25: A Kuwaiti citizen, who is wanted by law for the enforcement of a three-year imprisonment sentence issued against him, was arrested by Capital securitymen in Abdullah Al-Salem area in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Capital securitymen also arrested another Kuwaiti citizen in Abdullah Al-Salem area, as he was sentenced to five-year imprisonment.

Both suspects were referred to the Sentences Enforcement Department.

Meanwhile, Capital securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti citizen who was wanted by law for his involvement in a financial fraud case of KD 660.

They arrested an Afghan expatriate and an Egyptian involved in financial fraud cases of KD 604 and KD 358 respectively in Rawda area.

The three suspects were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
Capital securitymen also arrested a Bedoun man who had stolen a vehicle. The owner of the vehicle had earlier reported the theft at Andalous Police Station.

The suspect was referred with the stolen vehicle to the police station.

Meanwhile, in their recent security campaign at Taima and Saad Al-Abdullah areas, officers from Taima police station mounted checkpoints at vantage points and arrested two individuals wanted for criminal offenses. The first suspect was dodging four years imprisonment sentence and the second suspect three years.

They also apprehended 19 people who had no identification documents and 13 absconders carrying expired residencies, and 7 people involved in financial cases estimated at KD 150,000.

Meanwhile, the officers removed five groceries for violating regulations and 17 vehicles displayed for sale. They impounded 18 vehicles to the ministry garages in Amghara, and issued 83 traffic citations.

A security source added the campaign will continue in an indeterminate period with the guidance of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali to pursue all law violators.
