Thief runs with safe – Huge cash taken

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: Police are looking for an unidentified thief who got into the house of a Kuwaiti by breaking the lock on the door and stole the safe containing an undisclosed amount of money and important documents, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to a complaint filed by the Kuwaiti with the area police station the theft occurred when he went to visit his family. He added, when he arrived home, he saw the lock on the door broken and the safe from the bedroom missing.

The Al-Anba daily said Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints. The daily added, the theft happened in Farwaniya and that the suspect who is believed to know the details of the house has also stolen the CCTV camera that was installed by the owner. The daily also said there were 20,000 dinars in the safe.
