KUWAIT CITY, May 30: A fire that gutted a tent market in an industrial area southwest of Kuwait city has been brought under control, Kuwait Fire Force said on Monday, citing only material damage from the incident. The blaze had covered an area of at least 4,000 square meters, with the damage mostly limited to the tents’ building materials and camping products, it added in a statement.
Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) said on Monday that firefighters were dealing with a blaze erupting in the tent market located in Al-Rai area southwest of Kuwait City. A statement by the KFF said that four firefighting units were currently at the scene trying to contain the blaze. The area of the blaze is at approximately 4,000 square meters with damage mostly affecting tents’ building materials and camping products. (KUNA)
