Temperatures to drop significantly on Saturday

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: The Kuwait Meteorological Department said that the chances of rain will decrease from Tuesday afternoon with a decrease in horizontal visibility due to fog, especially during the night and early morning hours of Wednesday. In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the station’s monitor, Dirar Al-Ali, expected that there will be chances of scattered rain, which may be thunderous at times, accompanied by wind activity that may exceed 50 kilometers per hour, starting from Thursday evening and Friday.

Al-Ali said that on Saturday, temperatures will drop significantly, with maximum temperatures expected to range between 17 and 19 degrees Celsius and the lowest to drop to less than 10 degrees Celsius. He called on citizens and residents to follow weather bulletins, alerts and warnings through the Meteorological Department’s application for smart phones, as well as through the Kuwait Met social media accounts and the Meteorological Department’s website met.gov. kw.
