KUWAIT CITY, Oct 11: The issue of teachers of children of Kuwaiti women married to non-Kuwaiti who were accepted to work in the Ministry of Education is still in limbo, as the procedures for their appointment continues to be disrupted for more than 3 months, after they obtained the necessary approvals from the Civil Service Commission and the need for their specialties, but the ministry has suddenly pulled the rug from under their feet, reports Al-Jarida daily.

In this context, the daily learned, from its sources, that about 120 applications from this category of women from the Gulf and bedoun are still suspended, despite the fact they had the nod from the CSC to work as teachers explaining that the ministry has stopped completing their procedures. The sources said that most of these teachers passed the interviews last June, but they were shocked to learn their procedures have been stopped on some or the other pretext, pointing out that the ministry has more than 1,200 vacant positions.
