KUWAIT CITY, Nov 17: A Jordanian teacher at the Ministry of Education, identified as A.A., physically attacked a Major in the office of Secretary to the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs of Ministry of Interior Major General Abdullah Al- Muhanna under the guise of being a member of the ruling family. The suspect, impersonating a member of the ruling family, entered the office and started harassing employees in the office. The Major, who is the head of receptionists, rushed into the office to settle the problem but the suspect hit on his shoulder, leading to an altercation between him and the security officers. After the latter overpowered him, they checked his ID card and discovered that he is a Jordanian expatriate working as a teacher. The reason for his presence in the office was for his wife’s driving license. He was arrested and taken to Shuwaikh Police Station prior to his referral to the State Security for subsequent legal procedures.

Meanwhile, an Iranian expatriate sustained injuries when he fell from the top of a Kuwaiti citizen’s house in Qairawan area.
