Teacher gets life in prison for molesting one of his students

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 7: In an unprecedented verdict, the Criminal Court sentenced a teacher to life imprisonment for molesting one of his students in the intermediate level, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The court rejected the waiver that the defendant obtained from the victim’s family, considering the case is serious and immoral. A source told the daily that the immoral act of the teacher was not discovered inside the school as he sent messages and pornographic photos to students through their Snapchat accounts after work hours.

The source revealed the teacher had an appointment with a student during which he molested the latter. The source added that the law regards such an act as a form of indecency.
