She stated that the relevant government agencies were keen to overcome all obstacles to cooperative societies, both in terms of providing the Ministry of Interior with non-exposure statements and licensing facilities from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Municipal and organizing (Central Vegetable and Fruits market) from the Public Authority for Agriculture and Fisheries Affairs.

She drew attention to the issuance of a decision by the Ministry of Social Affairs to support the local agricultural product and other parties and to harness all potentials in order to provide all food and consumer goods as well as vegetables and fruits.

She indicated that government agencies have provided cooperative societies with all the means to deliver food supplies to them, but some associations have failed to do their part and government agencies have received many complaints from consumers about the lack of some commodities, especially vegetables and fruits.

In this regard, Minister Al-Aqeel praised some other cooperative societies that have spared no effort in providing all consumer goods, vegetables and fruits to their pioneers in abundant quantities.

She thanked the boards of cooperative societies that play their role, especially in this stage the country is going through and which faces exceptional circumstances that cannot be tolerated. (KUNA)
