KUWAIT CITY, July 16: A Syrian expatriate was arrested for attempting to dump the corpse of a newborn near a branch of Rawda Cooperative Society. According to security sources, a Kuwaiti citizen noticed a man acting strange while opening the trunk of his vehicle near a branch of Rawda Cooperative Society.
He approached the man and asked what was in the trunk. It was eventually discovered that the corpse of a newborn was in the trunk.
The citizen immediately reported the matter to the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior. Securitymen rushed to the location and arrested the man.
During interrogations, he confessed that he was given some money to get rid of the corpse, revealing that the newborn belonged to an Egyptian man and a Filipina woman who were involved in an illicit relationship. A case was registered, and investigations have been launched.
