Store Closed and 9 Violations Recorded in Farwaniya

KUWAIT CITY, March 19: The Kuwait Municipality’s inspection campaign on shops in the Farwaniya Governorate has resulted in the closure of one store and the issuance of nine violations. These violations included advertisement without a license, not complying with the requirements on which the license was issued, failing to display the license and employing workers with expired health certificates. The campaign also included issuing four warnings to shop owners.

The Public Relations Department of the municipality Dr. Nasser Al-Rashidi, the Deputy Director General of the Control and Inspection Sector and Acting Director of the Audit and Follow-up Department of Municipal Services in the governorate urged shop owners to comply with the regulations and requirements in place in the municipality to avoid violations and fines, which may even lead to closure of shops.
