Sri Lankan fails to ‘re-ignite’ old flame

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: A Filipina filed a case in Maidan Hawalli police station and accused a Sri Lankan man of molestation. She claimed the man tried to kiss her on the staircase of a building although she ended relationship with him three months ago. The complainant said she was surprised the man turned up at the building and tried to kiss her after a failed attempt to restore their relationship, and when she screamed, he ran away. A case was registered against the man.

Duo nabbed: Security operatives from the Capital arrested a Kuwaiti citizen and an Arab national in possession of four pieces of cigarettes stuffed with hashish. The officers were on a round of the area when they came across the two suspects in a vehicle and asked them to alight for checking, and found the contraband. The suspects were referred to concerned authorities. Meanwhile, an Asian expatriate was arrested in Shuwaikh Industrial Area under the influence of liquor. The suspect was at a complete loss state when security operatives arrested him on the street
