Smuggling attempt of marijuana by airfreight foiled

KUWAIT CITY, May 28: Air Freight Customs foiled an attempt to smuggle about 500 grams of marijuana, in a package coming from a European country via express mail.

One of the customs inspectors suspected an incoming package via express mail and it was screened inside the air freight to ensure that it contained narcotic marijuana. It was concealed in an air-purifier.

The General Department of Narcotics Control of the Ministry of the Interior will take necessary legal measures against the smuggler.
