Shukair, Lavaza & Fatourati advance

KUWAIT CITY, May 13: Team Lavaza booked their place in the second round of the 40th Late Abdullah Meshari Al-Roudhan Ramadan Futsal Tournament after defeating Jordan’s Hamada Club on the seventh day of the tournament.

In the first match, Jordan’s Shukair Club strived to win but failed to maintain a goal lead over Zone Scent which equalized at the last minute of the match. With this result, Shukair Club have a total of four points while Zone Scent managed to score one point, which keeps their hopes of qualifying for the next round alive.

In the second match, Lavaza achieved their second win in the tournament after defeating Hamada Club by two goals, thereby qualifying for the second round of the tournament with a total of six points. Their opponent – Hamada Club – will face their third match in the group round without any points.

The third match of the day witnessed Fatourati Club continuing with their strong performance in the tournament, booking a place in the second round after defeating Refrigeration Co with a score of 4-1.

In today’s match, Holiday Inn will face Zamel Rehab, Chicken Republic will face Kuwait Credit Bank, and Sedan Regional Company will face Al-Buraq Club.
