Sharp drop in prices of ‘iPhones’ in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 11: In the phone market, many consumers consider the “iPhone” models as the most value conscious compared to many other types of phones.

This makes the demand for the purchase of iPhones to sustain continuously throughout the year for a wide segment of consumers. Others wait for the opportunity to purchase high-performance devices at favorable prices, reports Al-Anba daily. Recently, the prices of “iPhone 14” phones in Kuwait recorded a very favorable opportunity for purchase, after they decreased by 5 to 20 percent through the promotional offers by many companies and stores that sell phones and accessories. This can be translated into a financial savings amounting to about KD 70 for each device.

According to informed sources in the telecommunication and electronics retail sectors, the local market witnessed an increase in the import of “iPhone 14” phones at the end of 2022, with the entry of more than 20,000 devices. This contributed to an increase in the supply of these devices in the market compared to the stable demand rates for the device.

Those in charge of companies and phone stores then launched promotional offers and policies whose value varies from one device to another according to the storage capacity and the volume of demand for it. Its prices were reduced by 5 to 20 percent depending on the different types of the latest model from Apple. What supports the amazing promotions and discounts in the market is the entry of the “Hong Kong” version into the country, whose phone is characterized by dual support for the sim chip.
