Securitymen nab Lebanese national involved in KD 21,000 financial case – Several people held during security campaigns

KUWAIT CITY, April 11: Compliant with directives from the acting Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah, security operatives embarked on an extensive campaign covering all six governorates and arrested 40 people involved in civil cases.

They also impounded 16 vehicles in Sharq area for breach of trust and took several people into custody for criminal offenses, residency law violation, and the possession of illicit drugs and liquor. Officers from Hawalli Security Command arrested some people for financial related offenses involving thousands of dinars, in addition to residency law violators, and officers from Ahmadi impounded 4 vehicles and took into custody several suspects wanted for drug peddling, with absconders.

In Jahra, security operatives arrested three Kuwaitis and two GCC nationals for possessing narcotics and a Lebanese national involved in KD 21,000 financial case, in addition to residency law violators and marginal workers. Farwaniya security officers also arrested a number of residency law violators, and with an Egyptian national wanted for financial-related felony and a Syrian for betrayal of trust, while Mubarak Al-Kabeer police apprehended three absconders.

Meanwhile, officers from the Public Security Department headed by Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah launched an extensive campaign in Sulaibikhat area and arrested 10 people involved in financial and criminal offenses, impounded 16 vehicles, and issued 65 citations for various traffic violations.
