KUWAIT CITY, May 1: Official data shows 1,369 male and female citizens left work in the private sector by the end of 2021, reports Al-Anba daily. Recent data issued by the Public Institute for Social Insurance showed a decrease in the number of insured citizens working in the private sector by 1,369 male and female citizens, bringing their number down from 53,900 at the end of 2020 to 52,590 male and female citizens by the end of 2021.

The figures showed the number of female citizens leaving the private sector was 1,424. Their number fell to 24,640 at the end of 2021 compared to 26,060 at the end of 2020.
