KUWAIT CITY, May 29: The Work and Vacation Department in the Administrative Sector of the Ministry of Education has warned its staff that there will be deductions in their salaries if they do not comply with the fingerprint attendance system or if they are tardy during Ramadan, affirming there will be no leniency in this regard, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources.

Sources pointed out that employees who do not engage in actual work despite recording the time they arrived and departed from their workplaces will be considered absent and this warrants salary deduction. Sources added the department stressed the need for employees to strictly comply with the official working hours in order to avoid any negative comment from the State Audit Bureau
