Former MP Safa Al Hashem to prosecute her abusers

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 8: Former MP Safaa Al-Hashem tweeted on her Twitter account that she has appointed a group of lawyers to sue her abusers. She said, “I did not want to file cases against the tweeters, but after the amount of abuses, slander and insult showered on me and my family, and I assigned a group of lawyers to monitor all the abuse on social media, those who retweeted them and kept on repeating cases will be filed in the court.” 

Al-Hashem pledged to provide the compensation amounts that will be decided by the court for her to needy families.

In recent elections Safaa Al-Hashem was able to get only 430 votes compared to 3,273 in 2016
