Sacking of expat engineers on cards

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 14: Minister of State for Municipal, Communication and Information Technology Affairs Dr Rana Al-Fares is moving towards implementing the replacement policy among the engineering and technical staff at Kuwait Municipality, reports Al- Rai daily quoting sources. Sources affirmed that Al-Fares is pushing to promote Kuwaitization and increase the number of Kuwaiti engineering staff in the Municipality, taking into consideration the increase in the number and size of projects that the Municipality intends to accomplish. Sources unveiled a plan to study the termination of expatriate engineers in the Municipality.
