Food inspectors at one of the markets in FahaheelKUWAIT CITY, June 9: Food and Markets Monitoring Unit affiliated to Services Follow-up and Inspection Department at Ahmadi Municipality Wednesday issued 10 citations and destroyed 225 kgs of spoilt meat and other foodstuff during an inspection campaign in meat and vegetable markets, and several other supermarkets in Fahaheel area.
Director of Ahmadi Municipality Engineer Fahad Al-Shutaili disclosed that officials have drawn a schedule for inspection campaigns under the supervision of Deputy Director General of Jahra and Farwaniya Affairs Engineer Ahmad Al-Huzaim.
He said the decision was taken after series of meetings with various administrations, directorates and emergency teams to plan the schedule during and after Ramadan
