KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: The Ministry of Health has asked its education counterpart to retain the oral and dental clinics in schools — 84 clinics in various educational districts, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily obtained a copy of the Health Ministry’s letter to the undersecretary of the Education Ministry stating: “We inform you that the oral and dental clinics in schools, which are under the Oral and Dental Health Monitoring Department at the Ministry of Health, have been operating for many years.

Throughout these years, we have witnessed the full cooperation of school administrations and educational districts in taking care of the oral and dental health of students. Since the start of the corona pandemic, these clinics have been closed temporarily until the students returned to the schools. We have to reimplement our awareness and preventive plans. Until the work procedures are clear and instructions are received for our medical teams to return to schools, please refrain from relocating the clinics without our approval in order to ensure the continuous provision of oral and dental services for the students.”
