Restaurant sued for taking 500 fils delivery charges – Law permits 250 fils

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 11: To raise awareness of the rights of the people, a Kuwaiti recently sued a restaurant for taking 500 fils for home delivery of food, reports Al-Qabas daily. The citizen said the law permits 250 fils delivery charge and after the restaurant charged 500 fils and refused to return the balance money, the Kuwaiti filed a lawsuit. The court ordered the restaurant to return the 500 fils and ordered to pay KD 200 in temporary compensation.
