‘Ready to deal with rainstorm’

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 4: Assistant Undersecretary for Maintenance Engineering at Ministry of Public Works Mohammad bin Nakhi assured all citizens and expatriates that the ministry is prepared to deal with the rainy season currently in the country, reports Al-Qabas daily.

He indicated that the ministry has placed emergency teams on alert to deal with any emergencies during the heavy rainfall expected this weekend. Bin Nakhi revealed that the ministry received 1,616 complaints from the start of the rainy season, affirming that all complaints, most of which were about blockage of drainage network and manholes, were handled properly.
