KUWAIT CITY, June 22: Police have arrested a young bedoun for abducting another young bedoun and taking him to a desert in Salmi with the intention to rape him, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to a security source, police acted immediately after the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received a report that an unidentified person had driven off with the victim in a SUV with tinted glass after spending some time with him in a café in Sulaibiya.
According to the security sources, the victim also managed to send a SMS to his father asking for help. The Jahra police managed to identify the location of the kidnapper and fired and flattened the wheels of the vehicle and took the suspect into custody.
