Ramadan moonsighting panel to convene this Wednesday

KUWAIT, April 19: Kuwait’s Ministry of Justice announced Sunday, that the Ramadan moonsighting committee will meet this coming Wednesday, Shaaban 29th for the year 1441 AH (April 22), in order to sight the holy month’s crescent of Ramadan.

In a statement, the ministry said that the meeting will be held at the headquarters of the Supreme Judicial Council headed by the head of the Supreme Judicial Council and the head of the Cassation and Constitutional Courts, Counselor Yosef Al-Mutawa, and in the presence of the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Counselor Dr. Fahad Al-Afasy.
