No more ‘Ministers of Crises’

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 4: Due to the fast approaching Eid holiday, sources say the salaries of public sector workers for August will be paid four days before time, reports Al-Anba daily quoting reliable sources.

Meanwhile, the Council of Ministers will approve legislation banning the recognition of unaccredited certificates in public and private sectors to close any opening for the infiltration of fake certificates. Sources noted the legislation if approved will allow certificates accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education only — based on new stringent regulations.

They denied stories circulated recently about a Government-Parliament agreement to dismiss ministers who seek to incite crises before the start of the new parliamentary term in October 2018, stressing the term ‘Ministers of Crises’ no longer exists.

They reiterated the relationship between the Parliament and the Government is magnificent indeed thanks to the efforts of the Parliament Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim and HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak to bridge the gap between points of views in order to create a common ground.
