Proposal allows citizens juggle between 2 jobs

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: MP Majid Al-Mutairi has presented a proposal on allowing citizens to juggle between two jobs in order to help them cope with the rising cost of living, reports Al-Anba daily. Al-Mutairi explained his proposal aims to motivate qualified national workers, invigorate the labor market and achieve social and economic prosperity.

Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs in the Education Ministry Yousef Al-Najaar said the ministry needs 30 female Kuwaiti officers under security contracts in schools and buildings with an estimated total value of KD 240,000, reports Al-Rai daily. In a letter to the State Audit Bureau undersecretary, Al-Najaar disclosed the Central Tenders Committee has agreed to increase the contract value by 14.460 percent.

Meanwhile, Education Ministry Undersecretary Dr Haitham Al-Athari sent a letter to the Civil Service Commission on the ministry’s need for 895 male and female electronic field technicians for the next five years — 85 of whom should have specializations in maintenance, control systems and robotics while the remaining 810 should be specialized in electronic security systems.
