KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: MP Majid Al-Mutairi has presented a proposal on allowing citizens to juggle between two jobs in order to help them cope with the rising cost of living, reports Al-Anba daily. Al-Mutairi explained his proposal aims to motivate qualified national workers, invigorate the labor market and achieve social and economic prosperity.Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs in the Education Ministry Yousef Al-Najaar said the ministry needs 30 female Kuwaiti officers under security contracts in schools and buildings with an estimated total value of KD 240,000, reports Al-Rai daily. In a letter to the State Audit Bureau undersecretary, Al-Najaar disclosed the Central Tenders Committee has agreed to increase the contract value by 14.460 percent.Meanwhile, Education Ministry Undersecretary Dr Haitham Al-Athari sent a letter to the Civil Service Commission on the ministry’s need for 895 male and female electronic field technicians for the next five years — 85 of whom should have specializations in maintenance, control systems and robotics while the remaining 810 should be specialized in electronic security systems.
