Professors at universities use toilets meant for disabled students

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 31: Some university departments have converted toilets meant for people with disabilities for use by teachers and other staff members, reports Al-Qabas daily. One of such toilets have been closed and instead allocated it for use by Professors of the Faculty of Arts to the dissatisfaction of some students because the faculty suffers from the lack of public facilities, especially those who are physically handicapped whose number is big at the university level.

A knowledgeable source said the Department for the Disabled affiliated to the Department of Social Welfare at the university has alerted the different colleges and agencies to prevent the use of such toilets by others who do not belong to this category of people.
