Power outage in Prison

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 29: A power outage was experienced in Sulaibiya Prison and the buildings around it including the Private Forces building. According to security sources, Ministry of Interior used electric generators after the power outage occurred in 12 buildings affiliated to the General Department of Prisons and Sentences Enforcement.
The officers in these buildings kept the situation under control without allowing any problems to rise among the inmates. The ministry informed Ministry of Electricity and Water about repairing the damage the occurred to one of the transformers which had resulted in the disconnection of electricity in a number of areas in Kuwait
