KUWAIT CITY, Feb 13: Director of Animal Health at the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) Dr Abdulrahman Al-Kandari has put at rest concern raised by some people following the recent culling of about 2,000 birds from the bird market due to avian influenza, reports Al-Rai daily.
Dr Al-Kandari stressed the poultry farms in Kuwait are safe because all the samples have proved negative. He added, this is in addition to the products which are tested in laboratory to ensure they are safe for consumption.
