Awqaf reinstates full allowances for all employees
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 25: Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Fahad Al-Afasi announced that the ministry has launched several new electronic services for the public including the immediate registering and lifting of travel bans electronically at the border checkpoints, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
In his press statement issued during the launch of the web portal www.moj.gov.kw, he revealed that this is his part in the e-government project. Al-Afasi indicated that the portal will facilitate some of the departments in Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Interior in lifting travel bans as soon as such restrictions are cleared by the concerned departments of Ministry of Justice. He added that the other services which have been launched include enquiry about the status of power of attorney, which will benefit both the private and public sectors.
Undersecretary of Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Eng. Fareed Al- Emadi gave glad tidings to all teachers of Quranic and Islamic studies including administrative employees concerning the reinstatement of their allowances to KD 250 after they were reduced to KD 150 two months ago, reports Al-Anba daily. He said such a decision affirms the importance of the task they have taken up in terms of serving Quran and caring for the students.
In a press release, Eng Al-Emadi indicated that the ministry Monday Dec 25 launched an electronic system for implementing its strategic plan and honoring the excellent performers including the best director, best supervisor and the best head of department. He revealed that the ceremony will be held at the Sheraton Hotel under the patronage and in the presence of Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr Fahad Al-Afasi.
