Police probes death of Asian man who fell from 6th floor of building

KUWAIT CITY, April 15: The remains of an unidentified Asian man who fell to his death from the sixth floor of a residential building in Farwaniya have been referred to Forensics to identify the cause of death, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the man fell on the car of a citizen. The car’s windshield has been shattered and the roof has been damaged. A security source said after the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received information, securitymen rushed to the spot and found the man lying dead on the ground next to the car. Police will determine if it was suicide or there is a criminal motive behind the man’s death.

Man wanted in 7 cases held: The Hawalli police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti who was wanted by law in seven theft cases, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the suspect was arrested during a security crackdown in Salmiya. According to security sources the man was sitting in a parked car with lights off and when the securitymen approached him, he started the car and tried to escape. Police surrounded him and forced him to stop. When police checked his name on the computer, they discovered he was wanted by law in seven cases. He was taken to the Hawalli Police Station and then handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department.
