Police on high alert to curb violence, maintain security – Contact hotline No. 112

KUWAIT CITY, July 17: A comprehensive plan for enhancing security in commercial markets, malls and entertainment centers has been implemented in consideration of the summer vacations during which many Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates visit these places.

In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the Public Relations and Security Media Department of the ministry affirmed that the aim of implementing the security plan and distributing securitymen to these locations is to enhance security, curb quarrels, and arrest violators of law and reckless drivers.

It urged Kuwaiti citizens and expatriate to contact the hotline No. 112 to report any complaints, stressing the willingness of securitymen to deal with any attempts to violate the law. The department assured that such campaigns will continue 24 hours a day, seven days a week, insisting on parents to keep track of the movement of their sons.
