Police arrest Kuwaiti carrying drugs; Hunt on for ‘reckless’ driver

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 6: Ahmadi securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti in Riqqa for the possession of an undisclosed quantity of drugs. While patrolling the area, the officers noticed the erratic movement of the suspect’s vehicle so they signaled for him to pull over. When the officers checked the vehicle, they found drugs. Meanwhile, a Syrian was arrested in Mahboula is he is wanted by law for evading a two-year jail sentence imposed on him for involvement in a drugrelated case. Upon checking the vehicle, the officers discovered some drugs. Also, Ahmadi securitymen arrested a Kuwaiti in Sabahiya as he is wanted by law for failure to serve the threemonth jail sentence imposed on him for insulting a security official and they also found some narcotic pills in his possession.

Reckless driver: Securitymen are looking for an unidentified person who escaped on foot in Riqqa after the officers called his attention for reckless driving and causing damages to some patrol vehicles. The suspect abandoned his vehicle and ran when the officers chased him as he ignored their calls for him to stop because he was seen driving recklessly, putting in danger not only his life but also that of other people. In his attempt to evade arrest, the suspect hit some patrol vehicles. The officers then noted details of the suspect’s vehicle and investigations are ongoing to arrest him.
