KUWAIT CITY, March 3: The Public Prosecution has ordered the continued detention of a Kuwaiti who is said to have shot to death his brother in Omariya, reports Al-Anba daily. During interrogation the suspect said he had planned to murder his brother and also said he is not sorry for killing his sibling. He added, he wanted to take revenge on the man because of a dispute between them. Earlier it was reported the victim was shot in the head with a Kalashnikov.The Interior Ministry in a press release said the incident was reported to the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior. An eyewitness said after the shooting the suspect escaped in a car leaving the lifeless body in a pool of blood. Preliminary investigations conducted by the Criminal Investigations Department said the accused was recently released from prison. The daily added, the suspect was caught in a hot police chase. The former surrendered after his car ran out of fuel.Wife strangled … : The sentences renewal judge has ordered further detention of a Kuwaiti who is said to have premeditatedly killed his pregnant wife, reports Al-Anba daily. Earlier it was reported, the 27-year-old Kuwaiti had surrendered to the Taima Police Station in Jahra and confessed to strangling to death his wife 22-year-old wife from an unidentified GCC state. The Al-Seyassah daily had identified the wife as Saudi. When police and paramedics rushed to the house, they found the lifeless body of the wife sprawled on the floor of the house.
