KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: The Ministry of Health has suspended from work a Kuwaiti pharmacist working in the Ahmadi Health Zone and referred him to the Public Prosecution, reports Al-Rai daily.
This came after the Ministry of Heath discovered the pharmacist had taken 360 medicine boxes (Lyrica) from the medical warehouse over a year without entering them in the record books and allegedly disposed of by selling them in the black market with his full knowledge.
The sources pointed out that the relevant sector in the Ministry should take legal measures immediately after discovering the incident, and investigated the issue with the pharmacist, who has now been referred to the Prosecution and suspended from work until completion of investigation
