Indian Ambassador meets acting director general of PAM

KUWAIT CITY, April 7: Acting Director General of Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Mubarak Al-Jafour says the authority has been making frantic and consistent efforts to improve the process of hiring skilled workers to serve the economic and developmental interests of Kuwait, reports Al-Shahed daily.

He revealed this during a recent meeting with the Ambassador of India to Kuwait Jeeva Sagar. Al-Jafour explained that the labor market in Kuwait recruits applicants with specializations that are required in the labor market. The primary role of the authority is to provide legal protection and guarantee appropriate work environment where all workers can get their rights.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Jeeva Sagar revealed that discussions during the meeting were aimed at finding the right mechanisms for enhancing cooperation between both countries in terms of the Indian workers in Kuwait. He expressed profound gratitude and appreciation to Kuwait for its consistent eff orts and improvements that deserve commendations, assuring of his commitment to enhance cooperation between both countries in the area of manpower.
