Pakistani sought for ‘stealing’ KD 1 million

KUWAIT CITY, March 28: Police are looking for a 57-year-old Pakistani for betrayal of trust, reports Al-Anba daily. The Pakistani is said to have withdrawn KD 1 million from the bank account of a Kuwaiti over the past few days after misusing the power of attorney given to him.

Indian assaulted: A Kuwaiti citizen viciously attacked an Indian expatriate after their vehicles collided near Bayan Cooperative Society, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, the Kuwaiti citizen became infuriated when his vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by an Indian expatriate. Instead of calling the police, he forced the Indian out of his vehicle and attacked him badly before fleeing from the location. After obtaining treatment for his injuries in a hospital as well as a medical report, the victim lodged a complaint against the suspect. Investigations are ongoing to find and arrest the suspect
