KUWAIT CITY, Sept 23: Police have arrested a 57-year-old Kuwaiti for harassing a female compatriot, consuming alcohol and causing injury to a male compatriot, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said a young Kuwaiti woman believed to be in her 20s called her husband when she saw the suspect following her in an attempt to give her his phone number. The husband reportedly waited for the wife to arrive home in Qairawan and confronted the suspect, who allegedly was under the influence of alcohol. The husband reportedly beat the man and he had to be taken to a hospital and after first aid he was taken to a police station.
Barber in rape: Police have arrested a Pakistani barber for allegedly raping a 9-year-old Syrian boy, reports Al-Anba daily. The arrest came after the father filed a complaint with the Taima Police Station accusing the barber of raping the boy inside his shop. The boy has been referred to Forensics. Meanwhile, a female prison supervisor was arrested in possession of three mobile phones, two chargers and other items, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to security sources, the woman was granted permission to visit her husband who is an inmate in the Central Prison.
Couple in trouble: The patrolmen affiliated to the Nugra Police Station have arrested a Kuwaiti woman for driving against the flow of traffic and not possessing identification documents, reports Al-Rai daily. The woman then called her husband who arrived with the marriage contract and her civil ID. However, when police checked the marriage contract, the names on the documents did not tally and also found out her husband also was wanted by law.
