Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait organizes Table Tennis Champ’ship – Philippines’ Ryan clinches title

KUWAIT CITY, June 3: Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait organizes open Table Tennis Championship in one of famous table tennis court in Kuwait. 40 top local players from 8 countries participated in this great contest. Players from Kuwait, Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Philippines, India, Jordan, and Lebanon registered in PSA table Tennis championship. All players shown their best skills during matches and Rayan, Hussain, Nadeem and Mehmood Ahmed qualify for the semi finals. Rayan & Hussain won their matches and secured their position for Championship final whereas 3rd & 4th position match was played between Nadeem and Mehmood Ahmed. Nadeem won the match and got 3rd position in championship.

In the final match Rayan from Philippines won the championship title after nail biting contest with Kuwaiti young player Hussain. Excellent skills and fantastic game was presented by both players in final and everyone enjoyed and appreciated their best skills in the game.

After the final match prize ceremony was held and many dignitaries graced the session. Maqbool Ahmed, The President of Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait, Muhammad Younas Shahid, Vice President of Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait, Muhammad Irfan Adil, Founder & Director General of PSA, Muhammad Irfan Shafiq, Advisor of PSA, Shamshad Khan Tanoli, the Patron of Pakistan Qirrat & Naat Council Kuwait, Ashraf Zia former Table Tennis Champion, Ehsan ul Haq, Khalil ur Rehman, Shahzad Qureshi, Muhammad Riaz, PSA Team Executive members, Farzan Tariq, Muhammad Wasim Bajwa, Sajid Hassan, Zeeshan, Sajid, Saad, Muhammad Usman, Yao along with Irtaza Masoud, Behram, Harry, Arif and all participated players joined the presentation.

Muhammad Irfan Adil, Founder & Director General of PSA welcomed all the players, honorable guests and congratulate the all the participated players for their best sportsman spirit, cooperation and support. He congratulates the winners.

Maqbool Ahmed, the President of Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait, said this was a great tournament where 40 players from different communities participated and shown their best skills in the contest. It reflects their love with the game.

He stated that sports is a best mode of developing love, peace, prosperity amongst society and we at PSA will continue to organize such events in future as well. Our message is peace, love and prosperity.

Muhammad Younas Shahid, Vice-President of Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait mentioned at this moment that PSA is promoting sports and healthy activities among youth and society and we will continue to organize different sports events.

Muhammad Irfan Shafiq, Advisor of PSA said this championship is a great success of PSA Team and they proved their professionalism by arranging such a quality, disciplined and best event in all aspects which will be always remembered.

Shamshad Khan Tanoli, the Patron of Pakistan Qirrat & Naat Council Kuwait appreciated the efforts of PSA Team and assured his support in future as well.

Rayan received winning trophy whereas Hussain got Runner up trophy along with cash prizes by honorable guests. Nadeem and Mehmood received 3rd & 4th position trophies respectively. At the end refreshments was served for all participants.
